Harry Keeling-Dodd

Throughout my project my intention was to produce an outcome based on the condition D.I.D (dissociative identity disorder). To achieve this I painted various monochromatic faces within the centre while it is enclosed within a skull and half a face. Through this encapsulating effect it produces imagery of a Russian Doll. The monochromatic effect was accomplished as it would communicate a sense of variety and show the faces personalities through colour theory. This outcome was completed using acrylic paint on a recycled wooden board. However, on the wood I applied a layer of playing cards to connote an atmosphere of chance and probably. This would create a link to the irregular chances of D.I.D. Alongside this it also produces a connection between card faces and the multiple faces of the various personalities.
