My project was to collect a leather skirt from a charity shop and then upcycle it. For my project, my theme was glam rock, so I chose to put stars on the back of the skirt as they were a popular shape in the glam rock era. I chose to look at upcycling artists such as Tega Akinola and Nadie studios which inspired me to dye my skirt and use materials I already had at home. Next year I plan to have a job with my dad, but I am always open to having jobs that involve fashion like retail etc.
