For my project I created a denim tote bag by repurposing an old jacket. I decided on the theme of the anatomy of the body as I was inspired by this theme from other projects. Before making the bag, I researched different elements including artists, designers and the target customer. After I focused on the production of the bag by creating samples that I would like to include onto tote bag designs and then developing one design further. I started by cutting the jacket as well as patterns then began my design onto the front. After I had completed the design, I sewed each pattern piece together. The final step was embroidering the beads onto the front to complete the design. Once I have completed this fashion course at college, I would like to start an apprenticeship at the Fashion Retail academy.
