My idea for my FMP was to design my own mech as well as model and texture it. I used a lot of inspiration from film, games and TV shows to get an idea of how I wanted my mech to look. Overall, I based the design off of arachnids and some insects that I thought would make a cool mech design. I also incorporated a camera that orbits around the model so that you can see it from all angles. The project was modelled, textured and rendered all within Autodesk Maya.
