With this course I was able to work towards my Level 4 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. My specialism is 2D character design but I also dabble in background design and tradition art skills such as painting and pencils. This course has given me the opportunity to improve skills such as proportions and facial features. This year I was also given the chance to work with a live client on her book. As the book is a fantasy novel, I was able to work on non-human characters to expand my skills set. After enhancing and gaining new skills this year I was offered a place at University studying Digital Games Art. I'm hoping to go onto creating backgrounds and character design for games in the future.
