For my final major project, I re-designed a restaurant in Gravesend, that is set within a building dating back to 1573. Due to it being an old structure there was an excess of mould and fungus growing out on the walls and areas of the building had started to crumble. For this project I set out to restore and redesign the exterior and interior, my main inspiration was the ‘Rico Sabor’ restaurant in Dover as it had a light and inviting colour palette consisting of different shades of pale brown and red. I also looked at many Latin American and Spanish restaurants to gain inspiration.

Moving forward I plan on increasing my knowledge and skill by continuing my studies at North Kent College, studying on the Level 4 3D Design and Architecture course, with the goal of progressing onto university to become a qualified architect.
