The focus of my work is the extinction of bees and the impact they have on the environment. I have chosen this specific topic to show the importance of how bees help humans and wildlife to survive. Bees are not spoken about enough, and the damages and dangers that they help to prevent just existing. I have used canvas boards and acrylic paint to help with the expression, tone and depth of the piece.
I want to raise awareness and the audience to feel heroic and to show that anyone can make a simple change to help with a huge change. It also presents the bees becoming extinct to this planet and to our hearts. If it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t be surviving for this long as bees extract the pollen from flowers which eventually turn into our vegetables.
