For this topic, I have explored my theme of escapism into nature which branches off of the topic of home. I have presented this theme by painting four separate landscapes incorporating escapism through showing how I personally find comfort in a perfect, peaceful and secluded fantasy world as well as in video games such as The Sims 4, allowing me to explore the combination of virtual and natural worlds. In my paintings I have chosen to use a bright and bold colour palette causing them to lean towards having a virtual, non-natural essence.
