This piece of work is inspired by an animation style called “rubber hose”. This was a technique mainly used in 1920s cartoons and animations. I wanted to do this because it’s a style I’ve absolutely adored since I was a kid. So combining the old with the new, I used this technique to create posters from movie genres I love today. The animation is also linked to this as I’ve created my own mini episode inspired by these cartoons.
