Re:fill

My time studying an extended diploma was split in the first year studying art and design and then moving into graphic design in the second year. During my time studying graphic design I found that I really enjoyed branding design, so I decided to develop this in my FMP. I wanted to design a brand that would make a positive impact. The UK produces 2 billion metric tonnes of plastic waste from single use packaging each year. Young people are very passionate about helping the environment, but sustainable options aren’t always accessible or affordable for them. Therefore, the concept for the company I have built is a plastic–free grocery shop focused on making sustainable shopping accessible for students. This would be a shop where customers would bring their own containers and refill them with the products they need.
