For my project I went with the idea of creating a sweet shop based on my trip to Brighton with the college. After the trip I reflected on what research I had gathered and used this as inspiration. I chose to design a sweet shop because I saw an opportunity to create a store which involves old fashioned styles and modern trends. I had 3 target outcomes that I wanted to reach, logo, packaging and a tissue wrap. These outcomes have been influenced by my past projects in Graphic Design and Illustration, bringing skills developed within my two years at NKC all together for my FMP. Branding and identity design is something I hope to do as a future career and this project allowed me to practice these skills and push my independent learning further.
